What Happens If I Don't Finish the Florida Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course Before My Deadline?
If you do not complete the Florida Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course by your required deadline, no certificate is issued and you have no proof of completion to submit to your court. Florida law gives courts significant authority to respond to non-compliance.
Consequences of Not Completing the Course
A parent who fails to complete the course by the required deadline may face:
Being held in contempt of court
Being denied time-sharing with minor children
Being denied shared parental responsibility
Other sanctions at the court's discretion
These consequences are set by Florida law and are at the court's discretion. The risks of non-completion are serious and should not be taken lightly.
Your Progress Is Saved
If you have started the course but not yet finished, your progress is saved at the end of each completed module. Log back in at divorceparentingclass.net and complete the course as soon as possible. You do not need to repeat any modules you have already finished.
What About My Course Access?
Your course account remains open for 120 days from your enrollment date. This is separate from your 45-day legal deadline. Even if your legal deadline has passed, you may still be able to complete the course within your access window — but completing after the legal deadline may not satisfy the court's requirement. Contact your attorney immediately if you have missed or are approaching your deadline.
What About My Payment?
Your $29.95 payment is not automatically refunded if you do not complete the course. Divorce Parenting Class offers a full refund within 30 days of purchase if your certificate has not been issued. Let us know if you have questions.
